1. Why this page exists

You are entitled to know how a website that recommends things is paid. Hidden commercial relationships are the single most common failing in this sector, so we set ours out plainly. This disclosure is written to meet the Advertising Standards Authority and CAP Code requirements on identifying advertising, and the Competition and Markets Authority guidance on transparency in online endorsements.

2. How we are funded

Legaro Casino Review earns revenue through affiliate marketing arrangements with licensed gambling operators. When you follow certain links from our reviews and subsequently register an account, the operator may pay us a fee for the referral. That is our only source of income. We take no payment from readers.

3. Which links are commercial

Any button or link that sends you to an operator — for example "Visit Wolfspins" — should be treated as a commercial affiliate link. These carry the rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute in our markup so that search engines and browser tools can identify them automatically. Links to the Gambling Commission, GAMSTOP, BeGambleAware, Gamblers Anonymous and the National Gambling Helpline are never commercial. We receive nothing for those and never will.

4. What a commercial arrangement does not buy

• It does not buy a score. Scores come from measured evidence against a fixed 42-point checklist.
• It does not buy a position. Our ordering follows the overall score, nothing else.
• It does not buy inclusion. A brand without a valid UK Gambling Commission licence cannot appear here at any price.
• It does not buy silence. Weaknesses we measure are published, including for brands we have a commercial arrangement with. Read any of our reviews and you will find the criticism sitting beside the praise.
• It does not buy prior sight. No operator sees a review before publication or is given the chance to amend it.

5. Independence in practice

Our editorial desk carries out testing and scoring without knowing the commercial value of any individual arrangement. Commercial discussions are handled separately and after publication. If an operator asks us to change a score or remove a criticism, we refuse, and if pressure continues we end the arrangement and say so on the review.

6. How we test

Every account we open is funded with our own money at ordinary amounts. We do not accept comped balances, boosted accounts, review-only conditions or hospitality from operators. Our full method is on the About Us page.

7. Accuracy and change

Operator terms, promotions, payout speeds and licence details change frequently. We re-check each review quarterly, but the operator's own website and the Gambling Commission public register are always the authoritative sources. Verify before you act.

Operator names and logos shown on this website remain the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the brand being reviewed. Their appearance here does not imply that the owner endorses, sponsors or is affiliated with Legaro Casino Review.

Our content is editorial opinion supported by evidence, not financial or professional advice. Every casino product carries a mathematical house edge. Nothing on this website should be read as suggesting that gambling is a way to make money.
